macOS not possible to confirm the programmer. KSP not installing

Hi, I just purchased KSP (20/Mar/2021) and downloaded both the Installer (.pkg) & Portable (.zip) KSP 1.11.2 for macOS. When trying to install or run the unzipped app I got the same error message: "it is not possible to confirm the programmer. macOS can't confirm that this app is free of malware." 

 

MacBook Details:

- MacOS Big Sur 11.2.3

- MacBook Pro Retina (2013) // 2,8 GHz Intel Core i7 // 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 // Intel Iris 1536 MB

 

Could you please help address this issue?

Ouch... Big Sur screwed up some keys, as it appears - I'm running Mojave (they will take it from me only from my dead fingers), and it works fine.

Try 

sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine ~/Applications/KSP/KSP.app

where ~/Applications/KSP is where you installed the game.

There's also this trick:

sudo chmod -R 755 ~/Applications/KSP/KSP.app

try the xattr stunt again after doing this one.

1. The installer.kpg never installs because of the programmer confirmado issue described before. Therefore I never get anything on Applications

2. I download the zip and open it. I moved the directory to Documents. Once I try running the comes you gave above here is what I net:

 

 

sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine ~/Applications/KSP/KSP.app

sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Users/~~~/Documents/KSP/KSP.app

Password:

Sorry, try again.

Password:

xattr: No such file: /Users/~~~/Documents/KSP/KSP.app

 

sudo chmod -R 755 ~/Applications/KSP/KSP.app

sudo chmod -R 755 /Users/~~~/Documents/KSP/KSP.app

Password:

chmod: /Users/~~~/Documents/KSP/KSP.app: No such file or directory

 

Can you help me understand what am I doing wrong?
