Dockind Problems Mechjeb

Every time I want to dock to a station with the docking port of the shuttle, MechJeb Autopilot has trouble with it. The Shuttle just flies away. However, the docking port of the payload I want to connect to the station, works perfectly. Please help me.

First you should control from the dockingport which you intend to dock, not the cockpit.
Second, Mechjeb has known issues in control shuttles with it`s asynchronous RCS. You are better to dock yourself e.g. with Dockingport Alignment Indicator.

To use MJ’s docking autopilot, you need to a) set a specific docking port as your target, b) select the docking port on the active vessel and ‘control from here’ and c) enable the autopilot. If you’re trying to dock using a docking port inside a shuttle’s cargo bay then it might not be able to fit, or you might have to use the ‘override safe distance’ and ‘override start distance’ options to make the autopilot get in closer than it usually would.
