HELP ME! my ksp weights 7gb when installing from steam

Hey boys i need help, when i install ksp from steam it says 7 or 6 gb, and when i look in there are many many mod i used some months ago, how can i delete this without steam installing them again as stock file?

Delete them. Assuming you have well behaved mods the only thing in the gamedata folder you need is the Squad folder. But, remember if you have anything launched/design that uses parts from those mods well... zany-wacky hi-jinks will ensue.

Yes that’s steam for you. When you uninstall, it actually keeps everything in the steamapps/common folder as well as others. It remembered my key mappings from 3 years ago (I couldn’t get docking to work until i realised I’d remapped the keys previously). So anything you know is a mod actually isn’t stock, it’s just left over from before as @steubencorrectly said so can be deleted.

You can also disable Steam cloud saving for Kerbal, sometimes it brings back unwanted files.
