ksp 2 asteroids

will ksp 2 have asteroids like ksp 1? because asteroids are one of my favorite celestial bodies (if you can call them one) and it would be a shame if they were not in ksp 2

They've got to be. The asteroids in KSP 2 look all samey, which is fine since a lot of asteroids do look reasonably similar, but there's an unfortunate lack of "special" asteroids besides the 'magic' asteroids.

Imagine KSP 2 with procedurally generated asteroids that could look like Eros or 'Omuamua. It would be funny to find a donut asteroid and fly through it, although maybe not too realistic?

I might be being just slightly pedantic but I don't think we've really seen that many asteroids.  We've inferred more from their spectral properties and orbits than anything else

Have we ever seen a 'magic asteroid' in the real world? 99% sure KSP isn't going to care about realism too much in this respect. It'd just be nice to see wacky and wonderful asteroids with memorable shapes.

The closest thing to asteroids that we've seen in-game is the ring debris.

Speaking of ring debris, that helps my point a little: Saturn's inner ring moons. Albiet, KSP will probably have them as actual moons, but some of Saturn's ring moons are actually dwarfed by KSP 1's comets, so it's not out of the question.
