  1. ...unless explicitly permitted by me. If you would like to make an extrasolar patch for Precursors, you are welcome to do so. Whatever you come up with will be bundled in a future update, and you will receive full credit for your work.
  2. Does the low friction actually work on Eeloo? I've been trying to get that feature to work in Precursors for what feels like forever now.
  3. This is half a bug and half an experimental feature. I thought it was interesting to include in the lore that the KSC is often plagued by snow; however, this makes the runway more challenging to use. If enough people request a fix, I'll revert the KSC back to being mostly snow-free.
  4. Do you like geocaching? Exploring special locations? This next update will be a dream come true!
  5. I love reading the Official Kerbal Space Program 1 Wiki's detailed celestial body descriptions, development trivia, diagrams, etc; however, there doesn't seem to be an Official Kerbal Space Program 2 Wiki yet. I tried to add dedicated sections of KSP 2 content to the existing wiki but was kicked out of the website by the mods because I didn't know what I was doing. Will there be an official KSP 2 wiki? I will happily give the existing wiki another shot if people are willing to help me learn to be a professional contributor.
  6. Actually, after exploring Frontier and seeing the new diversity of terrain, I was thinking about releasing an update containing new biomes across the solar system, plus a "geocaching challenge" of sorts: players could visit special landmarks to discover coordinates to the next special landmark, with a surprise at the final location.
  7. 1.7.1 IS OUT! Itty-bitty Frontier Patch As requested, Frontier now has oxygen. I did a bit of exploring today, and let me tell you, I highly recommend hopping in a spaceplane and taking a tour of the planet! There are a lot of new landforms to discover and rediscover.
  8. Currently, Frontier lacks oxygen; however, I think this is a mistake, so I'll see if I can release a small patch to fix it soon. If you want Frontier to have oxygen right now, simply go into Frontier's config and set the oxygen setting to "True".
  9. 1.7.0 IS OUT NOW ON GITHUB! ODYSSEY UPDATE CHANGELOG: Added Odyssey, a new moon orbiting Serenity Revamped Serenity Revamped Tranquility Changed the orbital parameters of the Serenity-Tranquility system Overhauled Frontier Improved Scar's color map Improved Icebound's color map Overhauled Maar's gunk ponds 8k normals for Fracture, Echo, Tension, and more Height maps now use Niako's smoothing mod Completely new loading screens Fixed Solus' broken Scatterer sun flare Fixed grammatical errors in some celestial body descriptions Added more loading tips Updated license file
  10. This new world is going to be crazy. Forget realism, embrace chaos!
  11. 2024: New year, new looks I decided on a whim to take a look at Precursors again today, where I discovered that several celestial bodies are still lacking sufficient detail. As you can see below, that will not be the case for long.
  12. UPDATE 1.6.4 is now available for download! Resources Update CHANGE LOG Added resource configs supporting the Community Resource Pack and Interstellar Fuel Switch Mods Remade Echo, Windswept, and Silence's clouds in 8K Added aurora to both poles of Echo, Windswept, and Silence Added a new anomalous effect on Scourge Improved Rage's Tracking Station description with correct number-related grammar Added three custom flags SCREENSHOTS THE FUTURE OF PRECURSORS I am sad to announce that Precursors' development will soon end. Once I release the long-requested Interstellar Update, Precursors will finally reach the point where I can consider it complete. There are many more features I would like to add and mods I would like to support, but time is not on my side; college is ramping up, and so is KSP 2's development. Additionally, I am developing my own space flight video game, which is absorbing a lot of my free time. Modders who wish to add new content or support to Precursors after its completion may do so after asking me for permission first. I would like to note that Precursor's future is not a dead end, but rather an open door. If KSP 2 delivers on its promises regarding planet modding support, you can expect to see Precursors return with a fresh coat of paint.
  13. Could you share the timestamp in the Livestream where the trailer is played, or a video of the trailer itself? If not, no problem.
  14. Curiously, I started making a resources update for Precursors a while back but stopped because I was unsure of which modded resources to include, where to put them on each celestial body, and how they would help the player progress. If you give me some modded resource recommendations and a basic overview of how each (modded and unmodded) resource helps the player, I will create a resource update.
  15. Developer note: the future of Scotoma Working on Scotoma has been very difficult lately. I work six days a week at two jobs -- one of which is long-distance -- and do not have much free time to work on the project. Making matters worse, I am struggling to resolve major technical problems involving Kopernicus and Parallax 2.0. I desperately want to make Scotoma a reality, but I am losing my motivation to continue its development. Why spend hours of troubleshooting to no avail when I could be doing other things? I say with a heavy heart that unless circumstances improve, Scotoma may never be completed. I am sorry for any disappointment this news brings you.
  16. Today's progress: AT-5's oceanic biomes Every color in the image above is a biome. AT-5's biomes are split into two categories: primary and secondary. There are six primary biomes, each containing three secondary biomes on average. The goal is to make every biome unique in its stock and Parallax scatters. Together, these biomes will create a modded ocean unlike any other.
  17. See the above pictures and descriptions; those are all the celestial bodies in the mod so far. As for the celestial body parameters, I don't see much of a need to include those. I will say this: Scotoma is a little smaller than Kcalbeloh.
  18. Today's progress: Scotoma Black holes are the only beacons of hope left in the post-rapture universe. With all the stars gone, Kerbals have no choice but to depend on accretion disks for light. Gone is the era of sunburns; every year, dozens of our people perish from exposure to high-energy X-rays.
  19. The Laythe release is already on SpaceDock, so go right ahead.
  20. A rocket that contains all rockets that do not contain themselves.
  21. @JNSQFan I was one hour too late. @JadeOfMaar
