How long does it take for KSP to load for you?

And if the loading time is quick for you, do you use mods?

Around 1 minute with >16K MM patches in cashe on spinning rust plumbed up to 32GB of DDR4 and unlocked framerates. Which is about ~30 mods.

If i had a Ryzen 3000 or 5000 series chip, that would probably send it well below a minute tbh.

Depends very heavily on what I’m playing- just spinning up base KSP on my SSD takes about a minute, but booting up my RP-1 save on the same SSD takes about 10-15 minutes depending on various factors like “is it an odd-numbered day of an even-numbered month that begins with a T or an S”…

Depends on the setup of course, but I clocked a full 1.9.1 install with around 100 mods at 8 minutes from a 7200 rpm mechanical drive.

01:11 to main menu, another 20s to main save loaded.

And that includes taking a timestamped backup of my saves.

~1 minute for my main game, which is stock with scatter. I have another copy which is lightly modded (4 or 5 mods) that takes probably 2 minutes to load.
