Unlockable launchsites already unlocked

launchsites I have not visited but unlocked

After reading the update notes that said that I would have to visit the launchsites at kerbin before I could unlock them I got excited to go out and explore but I then realized that they were already unlocked. Why did this happen and can I fix it in any way?

For me they became available once I visited one of them (cove). However, to see them on the map, I still have to visit them, probably starting from elsewhere (high altitude planes are useful here). And kerbnet scanner in polar orbit to find them. Probably a bug of some sort, idk.

I would be much more concerned if they didn’t unlock when you actually found them. Try disabling the launch sites labels in map view and then looking for them, if you really want to do it “properly”; or save yourself some effort and enjoy the freebies

I found them by just going into a equatorial orbit with a probe that supports KerbNet, and went far out enough to see the entire planet in one go. And I found all of them  after one rotation. Now getting there is a different matter.
