Jeb is on the Mun, overlooking my munbase kethane operation.

Bill is stranded on Ike after having to bail out from a failed attempt with a lander that had lost one of two engines to the Kraken in transit./.. i tried a landing anyways but had to bail at 20km and jetpack down. Rescue mission in planning.

Bob died in the same crash stated above, three man pod but only had time to get Bill out.

My Jeb, Bill and Bob WERE driving around duna with their friends in a Bobcat DEMV

I decided to clear up debris a little bit since LKO was getting crowded by spent stages, so I reduced the 'maximum persistent debris' setting to 0.

The game was registering the DEMV as a piece of debris because I decoupled it from the rocket I used to bring it to duna and deleted it along with five brave kerbalnauts... :(

They iether died in a failed Mun landing (something about a missing fuel line or two), or shortly after launch when their entire rocket blew up. I know both happened to me yesterday, I just can't remember which was first...

I noticed some others have had multi-Jeb instances. I launched two vessels but I had restarted the game in between. Both vessels had Bill Bob and Jeb, ok so some cloning was going on but that's not where the weirdness stopped. One of the vessels had a 2nd sub craft which Jeb(v1) went off in. Bill and Bob then went to rendezvous with the other vessel. At some point after the two vessels had got close I noticed that the 2nd vessel (which originally had all 3 in) now just had Jeb. It was like the game suddenly realised that clones had come into existence and just executed the spare ones! Confusing!!

Jeb and Bob landed on Duna slightly less than successfully. They got there on a lunar rocket that I had strapped solid boosters to, so they barely had enough fuel to get there. I had to use the last of the juice in my orbital craft to start the descent. Bill, well, he has spent the last 50 or so years on a sub EVE orbital path because I had no idea what I was doing. He has enough fuel to make it into a stable orbit and then land if he ever intersects EVE's path.
