How much RAM do I need for KSP?

Hi, 

 

I am currently looking for a laptop and the one that I found has a Price Gap of Around $100 Between 8 and 16gb of RAM, so is it better to spend that extra money for more RAM? 

My current install is around 7 - 8 GB

Nah, you should be perfectly fine with 8gb

I run it with 8gb and the game runs pretty well

Coming from someone with 12 GB of Ram, I'd recommend 16, especially if you want to run mods.
