I’m not sure “better” is the right word, they approach the idea of interstellar propulsion in different directions. In the end you’ll have to try both (one at a time, I believe they don’t work together) and see which you prefer.

I know FFT ties in nicely with Nertea’s other stuff e.g. Space Dust, Near Future mods, System Heat, so if you use those already it’s a better choice for that reason.
