I believe they've taken what I would refer to as the "American system". Where you have a shorter series but two within a year... Which really sucks...

Hope Doctor who never becomes americanized like what they did to Torchwood that was amazing but when starz bought it it turned into a government conspiracy drama I would give last nights episode a 8/10 reason why its not 10/10 it was just went too fast plus they didn't really explain why no one saw the giant statue of liberty standing right beside the building
