Problems like this are basically always an incorrect installation, so I’d suggest using CKAN if you weren’t.

ok, that's SSPXr. do you have the interiors installed? if you're using CKAN, it's a separate mod. if your doing it the hard way(like me) it's in the extras folder. just paste it into the gamedata folder.

Hi, I really love this mod, but I have a feature request: could a patch be added which gave the option to make the stock heat shields traversible in IVA, just like there exists for certain fuel tanks?

I know traversing through a heat shield might not seem very realistic, but multiple spacecraft designs feature a hatch in their heat shield for crew transfer (see Gemini Manned Orbital Laboratory or teh Soviet TKS spacecraft), so having this at least as an option would help in building similar spacecraft.

If I knew something about modding I would try to add this myself as it doesn't seem very difficult to do, but I might well be wrong about that.

In any case, props for making and maintaining this awesome mod!

Iirc some of the heat shields from tantares and bdb support this (as historically appropriate).

It’s not hard to do as a patch, but I don’t really agree with the balance aspect in the stock game. Heat shields don’t even support fuel crossfeed!  It might make sense for someone to provide an alternate copy of the stock heat shields that cost more money, mass, more tech to unlock, etc.

i have an issue with Planetary Base Systems. when i unbuckle, i fall through the part into the void. every time. i'm gonna test it with installing via CKAN and report back later.

Hello

I had the exact same issue. I installet HabTechProps in CKAN and the problem dissapeared with a new save
