I always thought the N1 was just silly. Besides, the Saturn V looks cooler. Like, ALL of the rockets in the Saturn series looked cool. Of course that is my opinion.

But the N1 DID explode quite a bit, leaving for some spectacular explosions.

How can you say that! The Saturn V just looks like a big tube. The N1 is sleek, elegant, and tapers to a point, like a dagger ready to pierce the heavens. Plus it's the underachiever, the underdog of the two. You gotta root for the underdog. And it was made by the Commies, who are of course the villains, if you will, and therefore far sexier than the 'Murkans. All those are reasons why the N1 is way cooler than the Saturn V.

If you enjoy explosions then you're in for quite a show because the N1 is the current leader in bad rockets with a stunning 100% failure rate.

Lol, the top white section of the N1 looks almost exactly like the Saturn V's.

Convergent evolution. The Saturn V's S-IVB-SLA/LM-CSM-LES combination had to do the same job as the N1/L3's Block G/LK/Block D/Soyuz 7K-LOK/launch escape system combination, resulting in a very similar appearance when stacked.

I always loved seeing it at the Space Center when I lived in Houston. Too bad that place is more of a day-care these days. Just drop your kids off in the morning to play in the jungle gyms, and maybe some of that NASA 'science' will rub off on them.
