Disable welding animation

Under low memory conditions the ability to skip luxury code would be nice generally.  The welding animation is what is killing right now as I have a lot of stock construction on a high pay count craft and the animation is a significant portion of the loooong wait

I don't know how to disable the welding animation, but on my install (KSP 1.12.3, BG, lots of mods, KAS for fuel hoses but not KIS just stock inventory) EVA construction often skips the welding animation. When I drag parts out of inventory and surface attach I get animation less than half the time. That causes me to question whether the part actually attached or just floating in space; the parts do attach but I don't get the visual confirmation.

There's probably some pattern to the absence of animation but I haven't noticed the trigger.

I think if the kerb doesn't have line of site to the attached part no welding animation occurs.  Also, looking at the log, it looks like it may be skipped if the kerb is on a ladder
