F12 keybound to AeroGUI and I can't seem to change it

I've played KSP1 and 2 through Steam for ages, and I'm a screenshot junkie - but the problem I keep running into in KSP2 is that whenever I hit F12 (the default screenshot key for Steam), it brings up AeroGUI. (I'm guessing this is a KSP1 mod integrated into KSP2, because I have not downloaded any mods for this!) Having to double-tap to get screenshots gets a little irritating.

I agree! At some point this would be nice to rebind.

But to get around this as we currently don't have an option to bind the AeroGUI, I changed my steam screenshot key to F1 instead of F12, as F1 used to be the KSP screenshot button and I think it currently does nothing.

(In game click Shift + Tab, then select settings -> in-game -> change screenshot key from F12 to F1)

This would be specific to the game, or for everything using the overlay? Because F1 has its uses in other games I play (but as you point out, not this one).

I think there should really rebind of the AeroUI possible.
Because for steam players its muscle memory to use F12 for all thier screenshots.

Maybe this is Possible with an edit to the games config files?
I was not able to find them yet.

You can use OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) and bind a key to the "Screenshot Output". 

I'm defitely here just helping with work arounds as it would be nice to have F12 be binded to something else, because I do enjoy the Steam F12 screenshot button. But for now, for me, it's F1

*Side note: way back in the day I would have used Fraps but I don't think that's an option anymore and OBS does a fine job.

Same issue. Its annoying, but I have been dragging the window out of the screen area for now
