Map Mode camera rotation is slow

(Talking about rotating the camera around in map mode by holding right click) It feels a lot slower and sluggish. I'm physically moving my entire arm across my desk to turn a birds eye view of the kerbin system just a few degrees clockwise

Yeah, looking around is like a workout.

I have the same issue. Its such a pain trying to get a jool encounter when I can't move the camera to see it!

This problem gets worse when you're viewing planets from the "bottom" south pole side. the lower your camera is, the worse it gets. It's basically impossible to look straight at the south pole. But on the other hand, looking at the north pole and moving the camera up will cause it to flip out and rotate around the north pole disorientingly until you stop moving the mouse.

Because of priority, it's a non-breaking bug.

If you want bugs to have a higher priority you should upvote the associated bug report, in this case:
