Need help with spaceplanes. KSP 2

Recommended Posts

So first hello all, new to the forums. So I have been struggling with a issue lately where my planes always turn hard right or left when picking up speed on the runway. It does not seem to matter what my landing gear settings are or the configuration of my plane, it just jerks hard right or left without reason. I also tried with and without SAS enabled.

Another thing I noticed is that my planes are really bouncy in that they constantly bounce up and down like they are on springs when idle on the ground.

Am I just doing something wrong here or is this a case of this version not having quite worked out how air physics works yet?

Edit: So for some reason the moderators decided to move this to KSP 1 when I was talking about KSP 2. I guess I should have made that more clear.

(Trying this again with a better thread title in the hopes the moderators won't move it to KSP 1 by mistake)

Hi all, new here. So has anyone else run into problems getting their spaceplanes to work in KSP 2?

I keep running into problems where without reason my plane will veer hard to  the left or right uncontrollably once it reaches around 100m/s regardless of what I do.

I have tried changing the landing gear around, adjusting said gears settings. Turning SAS on and off, adjusting wing and control surfaces. I am at a bit of a loss and wondering if it's a bug or just me missing something.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
