p1eguy32
Rockets that use the cargo bay or cargo nose pieces tend to flip backwards due to the extreme amount of drag they produce. You can easily tell the difference when replacing the problem parts with an equal sized fairing or resizable tube and normal nose cone. This makes rockets with these parts virtually unusable as it takes an insane amount of control authority to override the tendency for the high drag parts to flip the ship backwards. This is most easily reproduced by creating a rocket with a high TWR and the cargo bay parts at the top
000PainKiller000
I have noticed that the Mk2 cargo bay when closed generated more drag, then when it's open. Making it basicly unusable. I assume the other cargo bays do the same as well.
p1eguy32
I noticed it on the XL starship style parts, but yeah, if it's on the Mk2 parts as well it probably effects all of them
Lorunification
This is the underlying issue I also reported here it seems. I assumed it was that it does instead use the drag of the object inside. The cargo bay itself generating too much drag is the likely issue here. ShmackedSloth
I can confirm the cargo bay drag. Even just one small circular cargo bay is like trying to fly with a parachute.
