Orbital manoeuvre issues

hey so i have big issues with orbital manoeuvres the lack of infomation is annoying me,
when i intercept a moon or planet or other object there is no infomation displayed while i carry out adjustments to the manoeuvre node, if i click the periapsis only then does it display infomation but disapears the second i start adjusting the node again ... and with no orbital line displayed in the sphere of influence other than the capture and ejection indicator.

is this how it is meant to be ??? or am i doing something wrong .

It's a known bug.  The devs had mentioned that it is planned for there to be a trajectory arc that will connect the entrance and exit marker for the sphere of influence.  But it's not working as of right now.  They have also been made aware of the issue with orbital info not staying up while adjusting your maneuvers.  It will hopefully get fixed soon

Edit:  apparently there is a mod that fixes the latter issue you can find in the forum section for ksp2 mods.

In KSP1 you used to be able to focus on the planet you were intercepting and see your trajectory through its sphere of influence.  I tried briefly in KSP2 and it didn’t seem to give the line but it did seem to show the entry and exit points which helped.
