So I don't have the game open right now, and I totally could have checked myself when I was playing earlier, but since I'm wondering right now: is commnet actually in the game? As in: with the green and right lines? The connection to the Ksc, and so on?

There is some sort of it because apparently you can get out of antenna range. But you can't visualize it in any way. You just get a notification that you're out of range amd that's it (I haven't checked if it also limits the control over the spacecraft)
