Removing the launch tower?

Hello everyone. With my rockets getting bigger and bigger, I've stumbled upon a problem. My newest rocket explodes immediately because the SRBs spawn inside the launch tower. Is there any way to remove the launch tower? A plugin or something? Cheers!

I did google. All I got were old threads that suggested some hacking to get the spacecraft to take off from the runway. Thanks anyway!

Positioning of the craft in the VAB effects the location on the pad.

Moving the craft West in the VAB will position it more South on the pad (ie. away from the tower).

I just create my rocket in the VAB, then save it and copy the file to the SPH and launch it from there ...no tower to worry about then and no need for yet another mod hogging RAM
