  1. This happened when I went into the VAB. I opened the Debug menu and it showed "No Texture Memory Available to upload" and the game froze. What does it mean? Not enough RAM? I'm running 0.24.2 on OS X 10.9.4 with 4GB RAM. Thanks!
  2. How many times do you want to open a part's .cfg file to find out the part's descriptions and names and stats without having to open the game? Many would have to open the folder, and if the part.cfg is a unix file, that would be bad luck as one would need to use the "open with" function and select the TextEdit application to open, imagine doing this to all the part you want to know what it does. Try this out. With the Get Part Info Finder Service for Mac, finding out what a part actually is (without opening the game) is easier. A new tab allows you to open the part's .cfg file without having to go into the folder! Viola. v0.1 DOWNLOAD and try it out. It is my first try at this. Any feedback or criticism is heard. NOTICE: To download the file, open the .zip file and select the workflow. You'll get a window to install the service. Changelog: v0.1: Initial Release If this turns out successful, I plan to display the part's info without having to open TextEdit.
  3. In my opinion of course. Which means if you have not buy the full game at $23, you may buy a previous version say 0.18.4 at like $15, while the demo 0.18.3 can remain free as well as versions before 0.18. I'm not trying to say that I don't support KSP. I'm just trying to see who has the same idea.
  4. Hi. I have mods that are updated to 0.20. Mods that require PluginData… Where to put them? It does not appear in-game. Someone please tell me the proper file structure...
  5. The Dev team mentioned a 30% reduction in memory usage. But does it? In fact many said performance dropped, frame rates slowed. For me, I observe no noticeable changes though ever since 0.19.
  6. You should not predict the release date, that would only make things worse for yourself if it does not come out that time. But I would definitely plant a flag somewhere and start mining and explore new parts.

  9. I did this in unity. I had the decimals placed just exactly above the part. The xyz are in the right way. But the NODES DON'T ATTACH TO OTHER NODES.
  10. Minmus is just adjacent to a Kerbolar eclipse. I can assure it. Have anyone tried a Minmus (blocking the sun) Eclipse? NOTE: this image was slightly tweak to a higher contrast.
  11. I am working on a new mod. But even after I added a mesh collider, connecting nodes (also at their respective locations), allowStack and stack and surfaceAttach etc. I still can't make my part stick to another. It does not snap. What am I doing wrong? Something with the mesh?   13. Whenever I want to load a model or part from my Parts folder of KSP, it shows "A Load Handler for this file type does not yet exist". It loads my model.mu file. But I get this error. Nothing appears. What should I do? And can someone explain to me what does PartLab do anyway?
  14. I, myself is still new to modding. I don't know whether if a part can be transparent in some way like glass. I heard that KSP does not support transparency in mod making (somewhere). I would want to build something like a greenhouse, but due to the reasons listed, I don't know how to go about doing it. Anyway we could build something that is transparent yet not transparent?

  17. Hi guys. This is really off topic. I'm sure some of you guys (if not, many) have seen the scale of the universe thing right? If not, it's here! But have you seen the guys who made that, also made a youtube series called "Battle for Dream Island". That explains my Profile Picture. This show is awesome. Especially for those who like thrills. There are spacey stuff too! This show started in 2010 Jan and currently in its second season (also known as Battle for Dream Island Again).   18. From the topographic map from Moho, it shows two peaks that are almost exactly opposite from each other. One that stays on the near (bright) side and the other on the far (dark) side. This is my theory (not going to be a load of crap): An asteroid the size of Minmus impacted Moho's far side just as it had settled into a sphere. The impact was SO EPIC (needed exaggeration:sticktongue:), not only it created an impact crater but also RIPPLES (of molten crust). The ripples go around the planet before merging at the opposite side. Also the shockwave from the impact sent magma from Moho's innards to emerge from the opposite side, causing something like a volcano to occur. Forming lava flows on the highland on the near side. That impact may have also given Moho a thin atmosphere of volcanic fumes. (That's why landing on Moho is a challenge) As Moho, is actually massive enough to contain an atmosphere. That's it!
