Loading a Save with a Plane Flying in Atmo (Kerbin) = Plane Disassembly upon Load and then game Freezes. (Now with Video Demonstation)

This is absolutely repeatable, including after a shut down and restart.  Loading into a save with a plane (perfectly functional) in flight, as soon as the load screen ends and the player can see the plane - adjacently placed parts separate and the plane disintegrates.  Then the game freezes, partially.  Player can still move the camera around - but some of the parts are frozen midair.  Player can switch to Tracking station and back - but the plane is gone.

Also - EVERY TIME I close the game - 4xAA shuts off.
