Ability to set near craft as target in flight mode (not only in map view)

In original ksp1  I could set near craft or its docking port as target by just clicking on craft or its part. But in ksp2 is no this ability now, and I must to switch to map view to set craft as target. It is so uncomfortable: in map view close craft marks often overlap each other, also when center of mass of target craft doesn't match docking port I must dock to this by eye

There is, I just did that. Just need to pick the docking port of the target craft. Not sure if you also need to go "control from here" from your docking port.

Did you choose a craft as target from map view or in flight mode? I said in post that it is uncomfortable to set target only by map view, even if you can see target craft in flight mode near you. Maybe I missed another way to set craft as target

This unfortunately works only when there's a docking port available.
