LOD pop-in distance setting

Or whatever it's called in the industry. I don't want to fly over an ever-moving circle of trees, I want to see the trees to the horizon. I should never see pop-in while I'm driving either, right now I can literally watch it happen as I drive over it.

Yes, I want this feature too. But for rendering many distant objects in some cases I think Impostor unity system is better, because I saw several its reliable realizations

You see in video realisation with trees (left part) and I believe it is very effective. But I don't know how it'll be done in KSP2 case, will they use Impostors or LOD realization, I'm not graphic engineer

Yes, I find that a bit jarring too.

It certainly needs some sort of 'long distance' representation to ease in the appearance and enable you to see the clearer areas from a long way off.
