spike3035 Posted April 14, 2023 Share Posted April 14, 2023 (edited) After Patch V0.1.2.0 My game has become unstable When I load a save file from a campaign which I started after installing the new patch the load time has increased drastically and once in the game any actions seem to cause the game to freeze completely. Currently I have two vessels orbiting the MUN and a vessel staged on the launch pad. As soon as I launch the rocket, or save the file the program stops responding however the sound continues to play with the screen frozen. My system specs are as follows: OS = Windows 10 Home CPU = i7-11800H @2.30 Ghz with 32GB RAM GPU= RTX3080 8GB VRAM Edited June 1, 2023 by Anth12 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Anth Posted April 15, 2023 Share Posted April 15, 2023 The cause of your issue is KSP2 spamming the save files with lots of repeated information. Follow the following instructions: https://old.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/129k2lw/i_gained_1020_fps_with_this_simple_fix_in_ksp_2/ Use the following in Windows Explorer to get to the save files in the fastest way: %userprofile%\appdata\locallow\Intercept Games\Kerbal Space Program 2\Saves\SinglePlayer From the little testing I have done it appears to be a permanent fix to the save file issue.
