VAB gone nuts

I'm attempting to rebuild my land speeders and in the last couple of days my symmetry doesn't work correctly and neither does the number amount. If I use symmetry for a wing it'll put the opposing wing in the floor or nowhere or something stupid like that.  Also, is there anyway of getting those wrench icons off ? Their really annoying when trying to build something a little intricate.

Wait until they follow you to the launch site and your entire flight.

(Answer?  No.  It's part of the bugs of this build.  Sometimes closing the client and restarting helps - sometimes starting a whole new campaign is required)
