Sandbox follows me into career mode

I'm playing career mode. I went into sandbox to test a design but when I went back to career mode, all of the parts options from sandbox are still there. I tried restarting several times but with the same result. Any Ideas?

That's a strange issue. I've never heard or had that problem before.

I've also never heard of career mode in KSP2, so I think you meant to post in KSP1 help?
