Staging problem

When I put 6 decoupler in hex mode and I try to rearrange them in staging, 2 by 2, I cannot separate the part in the staging bar... Anyone know how to multistage them?

...hard to tell from your written issue, but try to put three pairs of two decouplers instead. They should be easy to stage in a queue.

Vessels in KSP1 and 2 follow a tree structure, keep this in mind while building,  assign the topmost (or last) probecore/cockpit as rootpart and assemble your craft in a logic order that can be understood by the game engine.

Edit: I guess you are trying a so called Asparagus staging, you can find lots of tutorials in this forum by googling...
