Does anyone know how to use joystick in KSP

i have a ksp and a joy stick ,and after watching people using joystick or something like that in the ksp

im getting more curios . so does anyone know how to set the joystick...!!

Under the Input tab of settings, the area on the right is for configuring your joystick. You have to do it all manually, but I think it's worth it. Good luck!

It would be nice if joysticks actually worked. I know some do, but others don't. Mine just makes constant, high-rate full-range jitters in KSP. Works fine in everything else, including calibration in Windows. It's purely a KSP/Unity problem.

Thats because Unity uses rawinput, not directinput, to make it cross platform compatible.

Some joystick drivers might actually do more harm than good here, such as with the Microsoft joysticks and pads that like to use Xinput instead.

The stick might work with the basic Windows HID drivers, but you'll lose a lot of functionality, especially with fancy sticks.

My Thrustmaster works great. The throttle is the best part, being able to really feather it.
