Well, now that this topic is alive again,

AN ANCIENT TALE...

It\'s often humorous to joke about the Probe, and certainly no offense is intended - but to many of us the Probe lives on, even as an ancient tale once told over warm fires by our ancestors. The almighty Probe watches over our travels in ORBITER and is the Orbinauts good luck charm.

Things weren\'t always so congenial however. There was a day when the Probe was inoperative and hidden away by the evil galactic empire. Flame wars were abound as the dark side of the force clouded everything. Long forgotten, the Probe was discovered again by two boys playing in the old warehouse at Aurora moon base. As they were playing and flicking random switches, its hydrogen core was activated bringing all of the MFD\'s online. UMMU\'s were automatically dispatched to carry out repairs as well. While The Probe hums back to life, the dark side sends out \'Darth-Probus\'. This time however, the Probe is ready, squashing Darth through a black hole. Lost forever - both good and evil, but the Probe lives on with the furry dicez hanging from the rear view.
