Fix Problems and stop challenges

Recommended Posts

sorry for google traductor.

I have a suggestion although I probably won't be the first to say it, I think they should stop creating things that break the game into pieces, the challenges are unfathomable in many cases, not because they are impossible but because the game is so bad that it can't be solved. they can do. I tried to do the last one of starship, everything was going well until you try to save quickly, when you load the game again the rocket falls apart by itself, parts fall off and it only happens after loading an autosave. Fixing bugs like that are essential before releasing the science update otherwise it will be adding more bugs to a pile that is already quite large.

They're not adding features that quickly, and the features they're adding are at least small and useful, like grid fins for instance. If you're worried that they'll accumulate technical debt at a rate similar to Squad, I'm confident they're not. Most of the differences I've noticed between 0.1.0 and 0.1.5 have been related to performance and bugs.

The people who create the challenges are not the developers fixing bugs. Stopping the production of challenges will not free up resources to fix more bugs.

What”s more, it’s not a secret toanyone that the game in its current state isn’t offering a lot of gameplay. For some, those challenges do provide a reason to play the game and step outside the boundaries of “safe play.” And that is where they discover bugs. Discovery is the first step in the process of fixing bugs.If anything, challenges are helping the bug fixing, not slowing it down.

Did you file a bug report?

If I presented an error, I also presented one a while ago and I did not have answers, I do not think it is the job of the players to detect all the errors in the game, before the game came out in the gameplays they had already seen errors that they did not They corrected before releasing it, I think that in the end we are their lab rats but paying :D, what's the point of doing weekly challenges if they end up stressing the player because the game is the way it is? I'm going to upload the video if I can so you can see what makes it unplayable, you save a game, load it and the legs of the rocket come loose by themselves as if by magic, it's meaningless. But they want to release the science thing in December, I would rather delay it and occupy all the staff, even those who do the challenges to test and correct errors.

If you don't wanna be part of the growing pains, why'd you buy during Early Access?

No need, this bug is already reported:

Also this bug report is on the KERB, it means it's in the top 20 of the most upvoted bugs. Believe me, when it's on this list, it's a high priority for them.

Those who do the challenge are on the communication team, they are not qualified to do QA testing and programming. (Even if you wanted, you had to train them, which could take months or even years (and they probably don't want to do that), so it's useless)
