This mod was originally written by forum user @Dizor, he hasn't been around for more than 3 years, and a user requested that I update this for 1.12.  Original thread here:

Description

NavBallAdjustor mod allows you to adjust scale/colors/priorities for navball markers and configure collapse behavior. You can disaccustom navball to hide on Map View or force it to be afraid of the mouse cursor.

How to use

  1. Install, preferablly using CKAN
  2. Start the game and click on "gear" icon on the top of NavBall. Adjust any NavBall option.
  3. Go back to forum thread and like this post. Done.

New Dependencies (will be installed automatically if using CKAN)

Spoiler

Select the marker at the right side, prograde is selected by default, and click on color picker area on any color you want. Observe the navball, prograde marker color is changed.

If you want to revert color - click on the left side of colored rectangle under the color picker.

To set the same color for retrograde marker click on ">" button.

  1. The old mod actually was working, but there was a bug where the toggle wouldn't hide if F2 was pressed

  • Removed linuxgurugamer.cs, replaced with calls to Toolbarcontroller (code optimization)
  • Added toolbarcontroller as dependency
  • Added version file
  • Added AssemblyVersion.tt

  • Moved config file into PluginsData
  • Added Changelog
  • Fixed button icon not hiding when F2 is pressed
  • Moved Icons into PluginData directory

god bless. i got the slim navball markers for a cleaner look but a lot of them are actually too difficult to see, especially in the context of the alternate navball textures offered by other mods, so the customization of this is perfect.
