KSP not responding for >10 minutes when starting the game

Whenever i boot up KSP with mods i will be flashbanged by a white screen with windows saying "KSP_64.exe is not responding", and i will have to wait for more than 10 minutes before it actually shows the loading screen and begins loading.

This issue only happens when there are mods installed, and varies based on how much mods.

If i install only [x] science continued and requirements the game will not flashbang me, instantly showing the loading screen.

How to reproduce:
1: install ksp (i use steam)
2: install a lot of mods (+100 in my case)
3: "KSP_64.exe is not responding"

Well I have good new and bad news.  
 

Good news : You have found your issue.    It’s a mod.  
 

Bad news: You need to figure out what one.   
 

Remove half your mods, see if it works.    If it doesn’t, do it again.    If it does, remove half of the other group.   Keep removing half until you’ve isolated the problem.   It’s a pain in the donkey.
