My first landing!

Today I landed on the mun for the very first time with jeb kerman's brain! It was hard and I had to restart a lot of times but I finally made it alive!

I have some pictures to post but I don't know how to post the pictures and put them in a spoiler so help would be nice.

Which isn't a terrible thing.

My first mun landing had me biting my nails when one of the landing legs snapped off upon contact. Fortunately I went with the 4 leg approach which helped me maintain an upright attitude by some miracle. Unfortunately I wasn't able to return my crew home as I overdid it on the TKI burn. I did manage a nice parking orbit however with some patience and a lot of RCS juice. This was just before 0.14 came out along with persistence, otherwise it would have been a fun challenge to scoop them up in another craft to bring them back.

If you do have any other shots of your lander, please share them, too. I do have to say the second pic showing Jeb in silhouette feeling absent from Kerbin does give me the chills. Maybe he forgot his kerby bear?

Well Done, I just achieved my first safe Mun landing yesterday (without anything breaking).

Keep on going and you will be heading to Duna and Eve.

I sort of landed on the Mun too. By sort of I mean I ran out of fuel, detached landing gear with lander secondaries, and blew up the lower half of the ship upon landing. But the good news is Jebidia survived and I am currently working on a rescue craft.

I just attempted to send a 3-man pod to the mun as a rescue mission but it always just blew up or I was too far away from the Mun One command module to pick jeb up. So I guess he is stuck there...

Oh well!
