In early morning 2am 1959 I watched saucer shaped craft speed high and fast into the clear starry sky. When well in distance it had a gap of space then a pink plume followed for a second till the craft was lost to my sight amongst the specks of stars. What did the plume color denote in regards to the saucer's speed?
