gilflo
Hello Guys, i would like to submit a challenge of Stratolaunching! 1/ You must design a VTOL aircraft for Duna: you must perform a Vertical landing on Duna, plant a Flag and then take off vertically and come back to Kerbin 2/ VTOL aircraft can use any kind of engines. 3/ VTOL aircraft can use additional tank and engines that can be jettison just 1 times (1 stage allowed) 4/ The VTOL aircraft must be launched from another Aircraft using only Jet engines, so if you use engines like Rapier, no closed cycle is allowed 5/ The Launcher is allowed to launch the VTOL aircraft whenever you need during atmospheric or sub orbital flight. 6/ One pilot at least is mandatory in the Launcher Aircraft and one pilot at least in the VTOL aircraft 7/ Rotating engines are allowed. 8/ The launcher must fly back safely to Kerbin base 9/ The VTOL aircraft must fly back safely to Kerbin base and land vertical or horizontal like a standard aircraft…it's up to you 10/ No chutes allowed 11/ Mod other than stock you can use: -Any informative or graphic mod like KER, RCSBuildAids, Waterfall….etc….. -FMRS to switch between launcher and VTOL -MK2 expansion and MK3 expansion, Airplane plus, Stock and Restock including Rigid Leg, QuizTechAeroContinued, B9PartSwitch -Squad pack Serenity (Breaking ground) if you want to use Rotatron or whatever you need -Mechjeb and any other autopilot allowed Good luck Here is my personnal VTOL launch Edited June 24 by gilflo
king of nowhere
so, you want to launch a ship from a plane, send the ship in orbit, send the plane back on the ground. how is that possible without the game authomatically deleting the object in the atmosphere while you're not controlling it? looks like the tricky part
