Cool, also when does Sarnus screenshots come?

I have a bug to commit, the ring in the main menu overlaps the text.

Sarnus screenshots come when mom stops hogging the KSP computer to play her online board games lol

That's just a thing that rings do in main menus, unfortunately

Remembered I took some yesterday and added them. More will be added later but now there's SOMETHING.

OPX-UrlumPlus has been released in its alpha testing phase. Have fun! It adds two large moons and a centaur and redoes Urlum completely, with much more to come in the future. Once again it is currently in the alpha phase, so expect and report bugs to me. The suggestion box is as always open in the OP. Future updates will massively increase the feature scope of this installment.

Testing has brought to my attention that there are severe problems with the PQS of Vizak, Ryla, Phabus, Dathil, and Lyxis. Please refrain from visiting these objects until the next update. They will look terrible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Also, I'd like to confirm that OPX-UrlumPlus does actually load for everyone else, right? One of the early downloaders complained of Pab throwing an exception and preventing the game from loading, but this doesnt seem to be happening to me or to anyone else.

My very-heavily-modded save loads and runs UrlumPlus (direct .zip download from GitHub, with all commits up to now) just fine, with some caveats:

- The ground on Dathil and Lyxis fades to black as I approach.

- Pab's terrain is completely differently colored than its ScaledVersion (it's brown close up but grey from orbit), which I think is because its ScaledVersion uses the color map image but its PQS uses HeightColorMap, and has the ground flickering issue usually associated with a lack of LandControl(?).

- Hock and Picna don't have an SoI or terrain or anything so they're currently unusable.

I don't quite have the time to really isolate the issues in a simplified testing save, so I can't rule out interference from other mods, which is why I'm not submitting these on Github. I will get around to submitting PRs for RationalResources for packs beyond NeidonPlus once things are more settled with planet terrain and surface sample defs.

I noticed that too and have fixed it for the next update

I noticed the exact inverse of that on Pymm during post-release retesting, is that what you're referring to? Because Pab definitely isn't gray from orbit. I'll probably just use a VertexColorMap in place of the HeightColorMap for the next update.

Wait, Hock and Picna are there? they're not supposed to be there. Get rid of 'em. I have them as placeholder locations to remind me where they go before I actually create them, and I could have sworn that I removed them from the release configs.

oh this is why Hock and Picna are there. The code section where you get the direct zip download is sometimes where I directly edit files when I dont have access to my KSP computer, so it has a lot of things in it that aren't ready for release. The same is true for a lot of mods, so its generally best practice to just download from the release section unless directed otherwise.

Right, right, I just wanted to make sure that I was using the newest configs so I was a little careless when downloading.

Yeah, looking at Pymm's .png color map and its HeightColorMap values I can see why that might look flipped around too (though on the locations I tested it worked fine — I was not quite thorough in checking all the different-colored locations on the planet).

Because Pab definitely isn't gray from orbit.

It is quite light grey near the equator, which was where I checked...

Pymm's odd HeightColorMap has been replaced and the PQS problems suffered by Vizak, Ryla, Phabus, Dathil, and Lyxis have been fixed to the best of my knowledge. To make this update a little more substantive than "this thing that already exists doesn't suck as much" I'm going to include some patches for compatibility with various mods.
