Given that my clean install does not have any of these issues its obviously something that isn't inherent. Also uh. That screenshot clearly shows two biomes. If it still doesn't work, try opening the settings file I provide with SarnusPlus and turning off the pseudobodies and see if the game loads properly or if the problem's somewhere else.
