Has there ever been a “Fog of Discovery” mod?

Has there ever been a “Fog of Discovery” mod? I’m thinking of the fog of war on old RTS games where you can’t see anything in map mode that you haven’t explored.

Research Bodies hides all the planets except Kerbin and the Mun so you have to discover them through researching them with telescopes (Tarsier Space Telescope) or getting an interception and putting a probe in orbit
