Retrieving Old Threads

For those that would like to get old posts back:

From a user:

"You can tell the users to re-post some of the threads using google cache, you can type this - site:forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com

It will show all the pages that are indexed on google, each with a date."

Bear in mind that this will strip formatting and if done in excess could lead to Google blocking you for a short time due to anti-bot/scraper measures.

Just leave any thread over a year old alone and you''l be fine

Oh and you can also use duckduckgo to find the old pages, use !cache and the url from your history on any old thread you want to find.

It takes you to a google cache of the page if it exists.

Regarding old threads - Can you put the 'Mission Thread' back in the sticky I forgot where it was; not sure if it was in fanworks, but it was a thread to post actual mission information; like say I am ready to land on the Mun (I do simulation landings etc in simulation academy - but I have one 'REAL' ongoing mission where anything goes, and is more, 'REAL', where I would make a post as to what I was doing).

Also I found this to be the best place to post a 'post-it' to let people know I was actively doing a live stream for the real mission I have going. I call this an event - I also do live streams every nite now just about - this game is drivin me batty (!) and at first I was not too sure if I could survive but the DEMOs got me hooked.

I think the best reason is the many creative possibilities with KSP.

So please give us 'live streamers' a place to post when we are up so we can breeze thru the list of activities, and the 'Mission Thread' where we can post our missions in progress.

This could also have 'special, art, writing, video highlights as well. I plan to have one thread where I do all my posts in...
