Now all we need is for someone to take up the same treatment with Grannus and BOOM! Entire Galileo setup is back in the game.

I concur, Grannus being a barren star in my GPP save is soooooo boring

JNSQ, GPP, GEP used to be the 'Gold Standard' because it just worked, and when JNSQ was present Ciro and Grannus were moved into effortless, rescaled extra star systems. There's one thing Team Galileo did an outstanding job of, that was 'flavour'. It was all very professionally done.

Well guess what ;)

After I'm done fixing all issues here and Parallax support is finished gonna move into GEP to do the same, just wait a little. I'm still learning.

Little update fixing what was broken:

- Fixed Catullus clouds color not matching scaled version
- Changed Tellumo's clouds height to avoid some terrain clipping
- Gael's Volcano now has some lightning
- Redo Gratian's dust
- Redo Gael's seasonal clouds

Download

Things like completely black clouds or cloud clipping like on Gael's volcano are out of my reach for now, sorry :(

I also have some potential bugs in this mod, the most obvious being during launch if looking toward the volcano, the clouds/volcanic plume becomes translucent. There's also another thing, not sure if it's a bug or design, but there's a near infinite number of random 'small clouds' which form an almost cotton wool like style.

Hi, yeah, the translucent volcanic plume is something that I just don't know why is happening, I'm planning to redo the plume and make it more vertical and see if that fixes it idk.

About the small clouds, can you get a screenshot of it? I'm pretty sure that's a mistake on my part, still learning how to do coverage maps properly .

The plume is an interesting one, from some directions it is solid (looking down at it for example) and from the Space Centre. There's a specific part of the ascent where the translucence occurs, so it's an intriguing one. If you're at a loss as to why it's happening, drop Blackrack a comment on his Patreon and I'm sure he'll give you pointers (or a solution.

But honestly, thank you for resurrecting what's became something of a forgotten mod and it's a shame because it's *so* good, it's so a wonderful take on a stockalike system.

As for the lots of small clouds, next time I'm on (stuck on early shifts at the moment so not doing much on KSP) I'll grab a few screenshots if that helps. I personally quite like the random, tenuous little clouds, I think it makes the atmosphere feel pretty realistic it's just the repetition that makes me wonder if it's a bug or not.

Actually last night I found out what I was doing wrong, I'm trying to make a new plume that should fix all the issues, including a horrendous lag that I was having when transitioning into 2D clouds.

Appreciated, I though the same, why is a mod with so many interesting bodies left untouched so long, so here I am :D

I saw them for myself last night, and it's not a bug, is bc I am using to low resolution noise to make the coverage maps, Hadrian has the same issue as well, the next update should bring up the quality of pretty much all clouds on all planets as well as the new plume.

Hey, for a first time doing it and an early version it's really really nice. I can't stress how much that volcanic plume adds to the Space Centre scene on Gael and the launch - initial ascent. :rep:
