International construction ISS in Kerbal orbit.

Nope, it isn't. What do you want to make? We could use the Rassvet, ISS robotics (CanadArm2, MBS, Dextre) made using Infernal Robotics+KAS, ESPs, EXPRESS Logistics Carriers and perhaps the AMS-2.

Using KAS sounds like a bad idea, since you have to use a kerbal to attach to things. Unless there's a config setting for doing this without using a Kerbal, it seems kind of pointless. And also, the SSRMS wasn't launched in a deployed position. It was tightly packed into a small(relatively speaking) container and unfolded in orbit. I believe that if someone is going to create the SSRMS, they need all the facts before they do. That being said, I've already made an SSRMS, but I don't know jack crap about IR, KAS, or Unity, so it's just setting there. I've been really busy lately, working 50-70 hours a week and 20-40 hours of schoolwork, so I don't really have much time left to play games or create content. If you guys want, I can finish up the SSRMS and send it out this weekend. It won't be animated or textured very well, but you guys could do whatever with it. This is no guarantee though, I may get called into work anyway.

@Razor and Dragon: I submitted a question on my last post and did not receive an answer, thought it might be due to the question being hidden in all the Praise I ass kissed into the post.....jk its mostly true, but all of the thanks is the real deal.

1) Is their a current build for the ISS that you guys are working on, if so I could not find a link. I didn't see any changes on the OP page so I choose not to download it due to the old release date.

Please and thanks again for all the great work you guys do.

Dren

I haven't seen anyone doing the AMS, so go ahead. Just remember, you'll need to make an attachment bracket (that could be carried and installed by a Kerbal), and then the AMS itself, to allow attaching it.

KAS has a "magnet" module, which can grab parts without a Kerbal. It'd be great if you at least released the model for SSRMS, maybe someone would pick it up and add KAS to it. That said, it'd be best if you also made the MBS with some trick to allow installing it on the truss. Otherwise, CanadArm2 is already available with Romfarer's Robotic Arms, even though the scale is a bit off. The MBS would be the real improvement.

Yeah, and P5/S5 ones, too. I mentioned that to BobCat, maybe he'll make them... If not, well, someone else will have to, but without the original models for truss, it'd be hard to get a consistent look from the panels, so that'd amount to re-making the whole thing.

CSS works well, check out the latest release. It's not perfect, Romfarer's plugin is broken, so the arm doesn't work until he fixes it, but otherwise, it's fine.

How and who should I send it to? Also, should I make the textures kerbal-styled or realistic?

Textures should be realistic. As for sending it, send it to me for testing and (later) to BobCat for testing and future release. Or I might forward it to BobCat once I'm done with the tests.

About the width of Shuttle's payload bay. The bay is 4.6m across, I'd give AMS 4m width in orbital configuration. Scale that down by 64% and you're set, if it turns out it doesn't fit, we can always tweak the scaling.

Thank You.

Hmmm this seems like a good thread to share this, if you have not seen it yet:

Completed station (37-second video):

In the future, with science nodes docked (25-second video):

Slow (1 minute 12 seconds) flyby for a closer look, before all modules were docked, but close to finished:

Playlist for the entire construction, from Zarya to Nauka and beyond:

First of all, Nauka has been delayed so many times, we're not actually sure if it will ever launch, so that's why it wasn't being made. Secondly, the Science Power Module was cancelled nearly 5 years ago. Any pictures you've seen of the ISS with that on it are severely outdated. Here is a picture of the ISS on orbit, as taken by the crew of the STS-132, the second to last space shuttle to dock to the station, back in 2010. The only difference is the AMS module on the S3 Truss, and the ELC-3 on the P3 Truss.
