Link dead, again, so many links are dead around here because someone/admin blocked/ruined spaceport/curse links, thanks a lot admins :(

Here you go bud. This is a link to where most of bobcats mods are being maintained. Including the ISS pack. I will say its a bit buggy because it does need a overhaul but it def works. Don't use the Zarya solar panels and the truss system and you will be ok. I recommend Near Future construction and Kosmos solar arrays as a substitute for the bugged pieces. You can use use the bugged pieces if you are looking for 100% realism but they are really buggy and use at your own risk.

Actually, Zarya panels are fine, they just don't play well with the Proton fairings. Truss is broken, though.

Oh you said last time that there was something wrong with the Zarya panels. Glad they are working now. I know its tough but is there an eta on the fixed trusses?

I've read a post that there were some issues with license of some mod hosting service so they killed all the links. Hmm. Thought it was spaceport, but that one also changed to curse and the links are all effectively dead on many mods.

I'll see how it goes later, it's going to be a fun time trying to get all the mods work.

They all work and they are being maintained by a user named Dragon01. He's doing a pretty good job at keeping them useable through the multiple new releases. However it would be truly wonderful if Bobcat officially came back to update everything, but like life things come and go. So the bobcat mods are very playable and useable. There are a few modders out there playing with soviet style rockets as well as base building mods. Alexustas is working on an epic base building mod called Konquest. If he ever releases it, it will truly be something to behold. Roverdude has released an incredible base building mod MKS/OKS. raidernick is building all most of the soviet and American probes launched along with some of the rockets that took them there. DennyTX although he hasn't updated much in while still look pretty active has some incredible High Fidelity Soviet and American Mods. His Proton is extremely accurate and a wonderful launcher if you can spare the memory. So I mean Bobcat set the standard but there are plenty of modders out there who are exceeding what bobcat did. I think when everyone first starts out they get drawn to Bobcat because of HOME and the Soviet and American packs. But even when I first started HOME was being patched and hotfixed, so they are quite dated and you can tell as the graphics get better in the game how dated they are. I mean if you see them in any version under .22 they look amazing. Now with the exception of he Soyuz its a little dated.

hey Guys! :cool: I am Lucas. i wanted to know if you need some help with detailed and functional interiors? i also have a mod in progress called "The Requirements Mod" where the kerbals have to eat, and drink. that my interiors can work with, i also have a system where you can open the hatch between the modules, and see into the other ones. if you need Some sweet seats for your kerbals, let me know. I would say if you can inbox bobcat. He has been gradually coming back to the forums lately and he is working on some new stuff. He did say that he wasn't working replicas right now. However a proposition like that might get his attention. The trusses need some serious work in this pack. other then that like I said talk to bobcat.

Hey all

I am aware that there are some parts missing to this mod and understand that people have real lives. This question has probably been asked, does the CAM module exist for this mod? Also the SPP module. Or is this a case of making ur own with stock parts?

Yea you are gonna have to make your own. This mod consists of how the ISS exists in it current iteration. Not how it was supposed to look. So yea you are gonna have to make your own parts. The CAM can be made with existing parts, and with procedural parts and a good solar panels pack you could definitely make the SPP. Good luck.

I will get on this and hopefully offer it as a download it will probably be as much stock parts as I can as I'm not a designer, but I'm sure people would like to complete their ISS

That's true however I think more peoplev are intrested in the iss as it currently exists. But by all mean yes do it. I'm sure people will like it.

Wow, I this is WAY necroed!

I mean since you guys are working on the shuttle once that is done you guys should steer your talents towards this. I mean whats the point of the shuttle without a variety of real world payloads. It would be funny if it was possible for you guys to package the station parts and shuttle together like the KSO does.

I yea but I mean actually packaging them together. Besides that this pack is in desperate need of love and if you guys would be willing to fix I am sure you guys could restore it and give it the love it deserves.

More then likely it would have been the Buran Shuttle if any, dragon put the CSS on his page for it but don't remember it ever being a requirement for the ISS when it was started.
