Yeah, that point is pretty appropriate... That's about where I crashed :P I actually made it a bit farther than that, but oh well.

I wasn't sure whether you crashed there or not. The distance was about correct, so I went with your name.

I love seeing threads like this on the forums. Great work you guys! I've been an avid boat builder in KSP for quite a while, though I've never done any sort of endurance trip like this, I usually build toward the speed challenges. On the subject of taking the metaphorical slow boat, though, I've been thinking about doing a circumnavigation by airship (thanks to Hooligan Labs' mod). Though it's probably going to be on hold for a while since 0.22 is imminent and it requires quite a few mods (airship, kerbal attachment system, firespitter for electric propellers, etc). As a result of all the mods you'd need it also probably wouldn't work as a challenge, but it sounds like a heck of a good time. :)

I am back after a long unwanted absince. I've all but almost totally missed .22 so I do promote a revission of the Kerbographic Society in .23!! I'm sorry for this thread dieing, but we will come back with force. >:)

I am there! New thread? Maybe contests to see how much science can be accumulated just on the surface of kerbin without using planes or rockets? Just boats and ground vehicles?

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
