I can very easily see that you got your inspiration from the movie "Sunshine". I know someone has mentioned it earlier in the thread, but if you haven't already, you need to see the movie ASAP. It's a 10/10 in my book.

And by the way, AMAZING work so far, Rareden. :)

yeh i watched it a few nights ago, its.....not my favorite, a few things in not a fan of.

I think it really lost steam in the last third where the whole movie theme went from psychological thriller/sci-fi epic to slasher. It's a shame. But for me, just the music (Surface Of The Sun + Mercury = <3) and the art style (dat gold) was enough to power it up into my list of favorites.

also the sun diying..... unless that was set 4billion years in the future i dont see how that would happen, plus a bomb with the mass of manhaten?? is that it, that island probably only makes up 0.001% of earths mass, it would do nothing to the sun and its 1.989X10^30 kg

According to some stuff I read up, the sun was dying because of Q-Ball particles that were eating the sun's mass, and the purpose of the stellar bomb was to re-ignite the sun's fuel. But at the end of the day, it's just a movie, and plenty of popular sci-fi movies took a dump on logic anyway (see: starfighters in Star Wars, faces going back to normal after being exposed to vacuum in Total Recall, aliens without antivirus in Independence Day, every alien invasion movie ever that has naked aliens dying to dumb things like germs and water when they could have easily studied us beforehand).

i know but its things like in gi joe2 where they "drop the giant rod from orbit",..........i hated that so much
