Shad0wCatcher
Don't mean to sound like an ass but telling people to look at a link that's broken then specifying later to look at another post (while yes on the same page) rather defeats the purpose. I'd think it'd be easier to either A) have the correct post number in the original link or post the corrected link in a more obvious format than at the end of a post in the middle of a page with an incorrect link. I was able to find the dll without issue without ever seeing the other post. Thank you for the clarification.
Carcharhinidae
https://github.com/careo/ExsurgentEngineering/raw/master/ExsurgentEngineering/obj/Release/ExsurgentEngineering.dlllink for exsurgentengineering, pull firespitter from http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/firespitter-propeller-plane-parts/ there.I had a crash when entering the spaceplane hangar, so no guarantees, but I'm running mod heavy and haven't tried with texture replacer yet, so it may just be the memory cap. Hammer Tech
[quote=FlyingRaptorJesus;874115it just kinda falls apart because you can't have struts connected to the wing and then move it or else it just spazzes out and explodes
Hodo
Apparently fuel lines work as struts, and I know for a fact they work fine with moving parts; so you might try that? They are really weak struts.
Hodo
so yea, i tried using IR + B9 to make that plane i posted (can't get pwing to work , can't even find it in the tech tree) and it just kinda falls apart because you can't have struts connected to the wing and then move it or else it just spazzes out and explodes , and quantum struts is too outdated to work, so i guess it just isnt' meant to be (yet).also, for some reason it won't let me unlock the 4m controle surface, i go to the tech tree click research, but then it still says i need to unlock it when i got to the SPH? To get PWing to work in career mode you have to add it to the tech tree. This means editing the cfg file. This is all I added to the cfg file for each of the Pwing parts. TechRequired = supersonicFlight entryCost = 5400It goes under the //--- editor parameters ---

Hodo
So far I have had no luck with PWings.... They always start shaking and tear my craft apart.First, wrong thread for this discussion. Second, can you post a pic of your craft in the SPH with the CoM, CoL, and CoT on, and get several angles, I prefer front, left side, and top as a base for finding a problem. Also ATC asked a valid question, are you using FAR, or KJR?

Also ATC asked a valid question, are you using FAR, or KJR?CoM, CoT, CoL are all fine, its the damn Pwings that are screwing it up....I am using both FAR and KJR, the craft never even leaves the runway, once I hit a specific speed (different for each craft I have tried) the wings start moving up and down.I tried with and without struts.... 0.22 craft seemed to work just fine but all my 0.23 PW craft fail...No SAS and no Mechjeb it lifted and flew on its own, after a short distance the engines flew off and it kept flying and flapping...Another build...This one will fly at 5km all day long, but Jeb turned really green and puked.....Making the wings smaller helps, I had to halve them to keep them from wigging out, but then they are to small to really get the plane up high... Thank you for the clarification.Actually, I just pointed to the page, because it was the easiest way I could help at the time (was on my phone). All it really took to get to the right place was just a moment of reading, for heaven's sake. In fact you spent more time typing about your annoyance and requirements than it would have taken to just read further than the first link your eyes spotted to see the problem. In fact, a simple search of the thread itself could have landed everybody at the right place even quicker in the first place. brooklyn666
Does the reduced texture pack not work with .23? I installed the regular version just fine, but I keep getting game freezes. When I use the reduced texture pack, none of the B9 parts show up.

brooklyn666
Nope it works fine. I have it installed with the texture reduction pack.Just to double check, I take the B9/Textures_Reduced/GameData/B9_Aerospace folder, and put that in my KSP/GameData folder, overwriting the original B9_Aerospace folder. Is that correct?
nickexists
You need to merge with your original B9 folder. Windows should do this automatically. If you're on mac you'll need to find another way to merge the folders. I know it's possible in the terminal.

Is that correct? What Nickexists said above. If you are using windows it should be pretty simple, just extract the file to the KSP folder. It will automatically merge the files with the same names. crsmithdev
Hi, I'm having some pretty significant issues using this mod at all in 0.23 (Steam + OSX). - After installing 4.0rc1: freezes 100% of the time while loading, CPU climbs to ~50% and stays there for 10+ minutes until I force quit the game- After updating dlls for Firespitter, ResGen and ExsurgentEngineering: same result- After trying it with Textures_Reduced files: no longer freezes, but no parts are available, and all ships installed with B9 are unloadable ("locked or invalid parts")...is this just not usable at all w/ 0.23? Any steps I'm missing?
