Mechjeb options missing?

Firstly: I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place or if someone posted the same thing

Secondly: I've got Mechjeb installed and most of it seems to be working fine, managed to use the ascending autopilot to get a bothersome ship into space, but now I have a snag: I'm trying to dock two ships, managed to get them at 1.7km of each other at about 250km above Kerbin

Now apparently there is suppose to be several options in the Rendezvous module - I only get one and that's to align orbits - I don't need that, I've already done it so phasing orbits, Hohmann Transfer and the rendezvous auto-pilot options don't come up

Have I done something wrong in installation, need a specific module or something?

There's arrows on either side to change through the steps of the rendezvous.

Alternatively, you can hit the 'autopilot enable' checkbox, and it will go through all the steps sequentially. I don't recommend that you let the autopilot run all the way through, it tends to get very close to your target. Last time I let it kill relative velocity, it blew the solar panels off my station from engine exhaust.

Where are these arrows? Because I don't get them on the rendezvous module window. Nor do I get a checkbox for autopilot

ah you are using mechjeb 1. mechjeb 2 includes better autopilot and rendezvous options.

so i had the same problem and i tried many tutorials given that there are only a few. But i eventually figured out that the version of your ksp is the problem.https://youtu.be/TwRsY9vyih8 here this video should help you out.
