Copenhagen_Suborbitals
Because that was the burn countdown, at 0 then engines shut off.Im sorry but thats not correct. The stream team had some problems, and the countdown clock was one of them. They had a delay of 1-2 minutes on the sound from Vostok, so its difficult to reset the clock correctly. But in all I was impressed with the picture quality. This was done by amateurs on a low buget. And still they managed to stream HD from a moving ship over a distance of 23 nautical miles.

TMS
Wow, nice videos.I notice on the slow-motion clip, the engine kinda stutters into action for the first few seconds. Is that normal for the fuel mix?Must have been pretty awesome to be there.
Nimaci
Excellent footage, thanks CS.I hadn't noticed the combustion instability on ignition in the livestream, it sounded like a V-1s pulse jet
Kerbal01
Did you have some inspiration from the British rocket the black arrow in the styling for the rocket in your sig?( looked all over your site but couldn't find the pic). Here's what the black arrow looked like:http://www.rocketryonline.com/jimball/alway/photos/blackarrow2.jpg

Copenhagen_Suborbitals
No its quite simply to be able to see the rotation, and the spaceship is orange so its easy to find in the water, thats all.https://picasaweb.google.com/114657365514543526210/362011HEAT1XLaunch?noredirect=
TouhouTorpedo
I love the ammount of media you make available on just about everything you do.Just wondering about the launch of Sapphire - there was quite a bit of instability at ignition. Was this expected or a suprise? You've certainly made leaps on hybrid stability though since HEAT1X, and from others I've spoke to into Hybrid rocketry thats supposedly quite a challenge to get right. Once Sapphire was off the pad though, seemed to burn really well!

Legendary Emu
What you guys do is so awesome. You make space-worthy rockets out of parts that might be in a dishwasher or a car.I have a question; What's it like launching rockets from the ocean? I remember seeing it on YouTube somewhere....Anyway Scandinavian, Czech and Dutch people are crazy(ships, home-made rocket etc.).

Wahgineer
Idea for first mission:stick a kerbal plushy of jeb into the nose cone/capsule and have him take a 'selfy' in space.
