JaySmoka
I'm building a station to be able to refuel my ships in order to be able to go anywhere from Kerbin orbit. I successfully orbit the Mun, but not attempted to land yet.
Vanamonde
Wait until you are on the opposite side of Kerbin from a point 60 degrees ahead of Mun in its orbit, point your nose at the prograde marker, and burn until you get a Mun intercept. It should look like this: Wait until you are at Mun periapsis, burn retrograde until you are in Mun orbit. To land, turn retrograde and burn until your path intersects the surface, wait until you get down to about 3000m, and burn retrograde to kill off remaining speed. Then ride the retrograde marker down at 10m/s or less, and shut off the engine when you have landed. Then take celebratory screenshots.
Canopus
Experiment with the maneuver planner, it helps a lot. Another tip back in the old days was that you accelerate right when the Mun rises over the Horizon. I hope it helps:)
angrysheep
Have you been to the wiki? You don't have to use a protractor. http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Mun_Landing
